To channel the power of our creative energy to enlighten and educate the furnishings industry regarding breast cancer.

SPECIFIC PURPOSES

•	To unite the furnishings industry in the battle against breast cancer.
•	To support each other in survival and demonstrate through example that survival is possible.
•	To assist caregivers and their families in their valuable and demanding role.
•	To overcome the fear and shame associated with breast cancer.
•	To support prevention through education.
•	To provide funding to research that supports the Foundation’s goals.

HISTORY

The Common Thread For The Cure Foundation 501 (c) (3) was founded in 2000 by Suzann Burkhead-Bray and Scott Burkhead in memory of their sister, Sandra Burkhead Campbell, who lost her long term battle with breast cancer in February 1999.
