It is The Common Thread For The Cure’s goal to support those persons or their families within our industry who have breast cancer through Helping Hand Grants.
HELPING HAND GRANTS
The Common Thread For The Cure will make Helping Hand Grants available each year to approved applicants. Grant amounts and number of grants offered will vary based on the availability of funds.
WHO QUALIFIES FOR A GRANT?
Anyone who is affiliated with the furnishings industry may request a grant either for themselves or for a member of their immediate family (i.e. child, spouse, parent).
The recipient must currently be battling breast cancer and/or have refused, be taking or have had chemotherapy treatments.
WHAT QUALIFIES FOR A GRANT?
The purpose of a Helping Hand Grant is to aid the recipient and their family in areas where insurance does not apply. It can be used to meet financial obligations, household needs, transportation to doctor’s appointments, etc.
